The Queensland Museum’s Discovery Centre is an innovative and modern space where members of the public can explore and interact with more than 1300 objects of archeology, palaeontology, cultural history, and earth sciences.
Working with Queensland Museum's exhibition team, FE Fabrication designed and fabricated a matching set of five adjustable custom light hanging systems to be installed within the museum’s Discovery Centre. Subtle and functional, the hanging lights were designed to unobtrusively showcase a variety of objects within the Museum’s newly refurbished space. Aluminium frames were fabricated to fit the QLD Museum’s choice of LAMP Plat lights. The systems were finished with a satin white powder coating to complement their sleek, minimalist design.
